Sponsored mile

All of the children took part in a sponsored mile, I was really impressed with all of the children as they were resilient lions and did not give up even when they were out of puff and feeling tired. Every child ran a mile and some children ran much more, they didn't want to stop, well done everyone!

Sports Day.

What a brilliant morning we all had taking part in sports day, well done to all of the children for taking part with such enthusiasm! A special well done to Axe for winning again!

The children put in so much

effort and worked well as

a team cheering each other

on.

Forest School

The children in Apple class have been taking part in Forest School Speaking and listening activities. So far we have played lots of speaking and listening games, have made a birds nest, made a tea party for an elf, made a natural skeleton and have made a house for an elf in the woods. We have really enjoyed ourselves and have enjoyed working together in teams in the woods.

Pyjamarama!

We enjoyed dressing up in our pyjamas to raise money for the Book Trust, thank you to everyone for joining in!

 Mary Seacole

In History we learned about Mary Seacole and how she treated soldiers during the Crimean War by making herbal medicines. We used Mary's medicine recipe to make ginger beer, ginger beer was used to treat sore tummies.

 Easter fun!

We had a great time celebrating Easter and had a wonderful Easter Activity day. In RE we learned the Easter story and talked about whether we thought it was a happy or a sad story.

 Gymnastics

We used rolls, balances and jumps to make sequences by ourselves and then with a partner.

World Book day!

We had a great time dressing up as characters from our favourite stories on World Book Day!

Castles

Lots of us made a castle as part of our homework. They are excellent and have a drawbridge and a portcullis.

African Dancing

ICT

We learned how to program and de-bug the BeeBots

Nativity
