Jolly hockey sticks. Keeping warm and learning skills in hockey
During creativity week we designed and made our own Eco-homes. We looked to improve our recycling efforts at home and presented an assembly to the school to make them aware of landfill and how to try and reduce waste.
Today we were archaeologists. We searched for Egyptian treasures in the sand. We made our own scarabs and learnt about some Egyptian beliefs. We baked our own date bread and tasted it. There were mixed reactions.
Our class held an Ancient Greek day. We dressed up as Ancient Greeks. We held a Greek banquet and tried various types of Greek food. We looked at Greek customs and how they used to live.
We were really lucky to visit Knowle Hall. We worked alongside our Chinese Friends and took part in some Maths and Robotics challenges. We learnt a lot about each other. We made some great friends.
We launched ourselves into the second half of our invasion games unit. It was cold outside but we kept ourselves warm with our first taste of our Tag Rugby.
